By popular request, starting this coming Saturday 3/24, the Milwaukee Go Club will meet in the UWM Union, every week. We'll have our banner up and will signpost any more specific change of location, but probably we'll be at the tables in the food court area.
For now, let's keep the time the same -- 7pm -- but there's also talk of moving the time to the afternoon, so please weigh in if you have an opinion.

Go club meets tomorrow 2/25 as usual
Come to Bayshore (atrium area outside Board Game Barrister) at 7pm on Saturday to welcome visitors and new players — so happy to be meeting so many new faces this year!

We're looking forward to connecting with some new players and re-connecting with some others this Saturday, as Chinese New Year festivities wind down.
Looking toward the future, we've been encouraged by many people to move to a weekly rather than twice-monthly format. Mainly the idea is to make it easier for people to visit us without having to wonder whether it's an off or an on week. We probably wouldn't start this for another couple of months but let's talk it over before deciding one way or another.

Go Club at Bayshore this Saturday
Last Saturday, despite the snow on the ground, the tournament at the Domes New Year Festival successfully made contact with several new (but experienced) go players, as well as a number of intrigued high schoolers and their parents.
This Saturday, we hope we can welcome some of these players (if they aren't at one of the several Chinese New Year's parties) at Bayshore at our usual time: 7pm near Board Game Barrister.
These next couple of weeks would also be a great time for beginners to sign up for lessons Sundays 4-5 pm at Marquette's LaLumiere Hall for the spring semester. Go to mmcsweb.com and look for the 2012 Spring Registration link on the RIGHT SIDE of the page.

This is just a reminder that the Milwaukee Go Club is meeting this Saturday, December 10th.
