We'll want to have some occasional evening games for people who can't make it in the afternoon too. Milwaukee Go: Regular mtg Sat 7pm; Visitor Sat 2pm; Notifications

1) We'll meet as usual Sat at 7pm at the UWM Union food court.

2) Several people on this list prefer the afternoon, and as it happens this week there is a visitor (17k) who would like to play at 2pm. If any of us would like to meet him for a game or two, please reply to this e-mail or post a comment on this blog entry. He is staying at the convention center Hilton downtown.

3) FYI: At the risk of being redundant for some readers, Milwaukee Go activities are posted at milwaukeego.wordpress.com.  Usually the posts will be updated by Friday night or Saturday morning, if not before.

And it looks like we're heading toward an eventual switch to Saturdays starting at 4pm.

The go club meeting is still on for 7pm tonight at the UWM Union in the food court area. Look for our banner!

We are still collecting input about setting a meeting time for future meetings, so if you haven't weighed in yet, please do so soon!  We are looking at Saturday afternoons.  Does that work for you?  Reply directly to this address (milwaukeego@gmail.com).

New post on Milwaukee Go Club Every Saturday now, at UWM Union by milwaukeego We're meeting every Saturday now in the UWM Union at the corner of Kenwood and Maryland on the eastside of Milwaukee. Look for the banner by the tables in the food court area. For now it'll still be 7pm but please weigh in on whether it would be better or worse for you to change it to the afternoon, starting at say 2pm or 4pm. Go Club new location as of this week: UWM Union

The Milwaukee Go Club will be meeting at the UWM Union starting this week. 
See you at the tables by the food court at 7pm! 

Mke Go Club Changes: location = UWM Union ; frequency = every week. Query: time = ?

By popular request, starting this coming Saturday 3/24, the Milwaukee Go Club will meet in the UWM Union, every week. We'll have our banner up and will signpost any more specific change of location, but probably we'll be at the tables in the food court area.
For now, let's keep the time the same -- 7pm -- but there's also talk of moving the time to the afternoon, so please weigh in if you have an opinion.

Go club meets tomorrow 2/25 as usual

Come to Bayshore (atrium area outside Board Game Barrister) at 7pm on Saturday to welcome visitors and new players — so happy to be meeting so many new faces this year!

Sat Feb 11 go with visitors?

We're looking forward to connecting with some new players and re-connecting with some others this Saturday, as Chinese New Year festivities wind down.

Looking toward the future, we've been encouraged by many people to move to a weekly rather than twice-monthly format. Mainly the idea is to make it easier for people to visit us without having to wonder whether it's an off or an on week. We probably wouldn't start this for another couple of months but let's talk it over before deciding one way or another.
